Drolson One Step Closer to LPGA Event

Kaitlin Drolson, a sophomore on the women's golf team, finished second at a pre-qualifying tournament for the Kia Classic presented by J Golf, an LPGA event held at the La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, earlier this week. Only the top two players at the pre-qualifier moved on to the next qualifying round, which is on March 22. The top two from that qualifier will move on to the full event, set for March 25-28. Drolson previously qualified for the 2009 U.S. Women's Open.
